To be honest, all the Starbucks
coffees tasted not much different.
I'm here in SF training for 2 weeks, coffee is my way to survive in the class.
The reason why I'm putting up 5 stars with my strict standard is because of this nice gentleman Dylan!
Dylan is always smiling when he sees people.
His patience not only does he listened,
there was one time I came to Starbucks in the morning forgetting the name of my coffee.
He listened and directed me to the right product!
Dylan not only remembered my name but also remember that I have lactose intolerance with milk and can only take almond milk.
That's very sweet of him!
I'm sure everyone has the ability to do what Dylan does in service but no one would be like Dylan who is willing to go far and beyond to reach more than the satisfaction.
Thank you Dylan, you deserved my 5 Stars! -

Came here on a Sunday early morning. This store was super unorganized and filthy- probably one of the worst Starbucks that I've seen. The staff were not in uniform nor showed like they cared about their job. I ordered a small pike and a butter croissant. The coffee was cold and it took like 15 minutes for the butter croissant.
Food: 1/5
Service: 1/5
Selection: 5/5
Overall: 1/5 (Negative points if Yelp allowed it) -

This Starbucks is located near the north east corner of Drumm and California not far from the Metro Embarcadero station and the eastern end of the California street cable car turn.
I was waiting at the eastern end of the California cable car and some Muni works were doing something at the tracks and the cable car was there for a while. I asked the Muni worker nearby if this was going to be a while and he said they were just cleaning something having to do with the track and that it would be maybe 10 minutes. I saw this small window as an opportunity to go in and get a mug.
I've been looking for the You Are Here series of mugs but it seems those are all gone these days. The "Been There" collections seems to have taken over as the new mug series and although they are the same size and shape, the design is all different. My niece wanted one and I swear walking around San Fran it's almost impossible to go 3 blocks without seeing one but for some reason no stores seemed to have the mugs except finally this small one on Drumm. That being said I was able to buy one and get back to the cable car turn and hop on. -

Thanks for kicking this location back into shape. Prompt friendly and clean store.
Dear Starbucks,
I promise I am not a transient.
As I get off BART, often times I need to use the restroom (it's a long way from Union City on the train)
As always, when needed, I politely ask for the code for the restroom.
This day, I was asked "was I a customer?" and did I make a purchase yet. I held my tongue, and ordered. When I asked if she could hold my order so I could use the restroom, I got the .
Now, I am here all by my lonesome, and prefer not to bring my food in toilet area unless necessary. Hence the restroom break before the food.
I understand the transient issue in the CITY. I do. I work here, and live close enough.
There has to be another way, no?
Well... I guess history taught them a le -

PROS: Spacious and plenty of seating. Good central location in a typically busy part of the city. Close to BART.
CONS: Each time I come here, it's kind of messy (like "no one sweeps the floors" kind of messy). In a busy part of the city. Nothing really extravagant. Service is pretty poor, but not the worst.
Honestly I'd just recommend this Starbucks if you're looking for a place to do some work without the hassle of fighting for seats. I usually make this a meeting spot when I have to work with people since I know we'll usually be able to secure seats and of course not have to worry about wifi since all Starbucks offer it anyway.
